Much Harvesting

June 24th -- First Cherry tomato (I think the tomatoes look more like grape tomatoes), a Jalapeno
June 26th -- 2 garlic bulbs and a zucchini
June 27th -- 5 more Zucchini, Traded 3 to Georges for some Cucumber, last of the peas
June 28th -- The first Potato

First Tomato of the Season

The very small yellow cherry tomato gave me the first tomato of 2011.

First Carrot

I picked my first carrot out of Garden C. Nice and fat, but very short.

Final Spring Planting

Planted 2 Cherokee Purple tomatoes to replace the celebrity and roma that died. Planted 5 Green pepper, and 6 Cantaloupe.

I also thinned a carrot, and the carrot was the size of a little baby carrot, so I ate it. Dug around the carrots in the greenhouse, but they seem to only be about 3/4" in diameter at the largest.

Put a little miracle grow down the water lines on all veggies in Garden B. Probably should have used more.

Did my first trimming of tomatoes at the trellis, and in the PVC cages.

Harvest

Picked and roasted 4 large Beets from Garden C. Had them in a salad plus some radishes, lettuce and about 10 snow peas I also picked today.

Yellow Cherry Tomato

Planted a yellow cherry tomato in spot 10. Also planted 6 Habaneros, 3 Jalapeños and 3 more pairs of Zucchini. Planted the White Cucumbers grown from seed.
