Tomato 9 & 17 Supersweet 100 from Sun @ $0.99 a piece.
Tomato 9 was planted almost entirely in compost. Both plants were fairly tall, and all but the top 2 branches were removed, and the plants planted very deep. Check the roots when you pull the plants out to see if there were any long term benefits of this by comparing to the plants planted yesterday. Those were not so tall and could not be planted as deeply (although they were planted as deeply as possible).
Osmocote fertilizer in the holes before planting.
