First External Garduino Test

Installed the Solar panel and "waterproof" box last week. Put a temperature sensor and a cadmium photocell both inside and outside the greenhouse. The one temperature sensor, I think the outside one, didn't work; everything read about 66 degrees, but the one inside the greenhouse got up to 91.5 degrees at 4/11/2001 14:36. The photosensors were not too informative, because they really can't be calibrated and directly compared, but from the light curve, it looks like 4/12 must have been a cloudy day, because of all the jaggyness in the curve.

Unfortunately, my waterproof box was anything but, and when I retrieved the unit today, it was sitting in water. The system stopped logging data on 4/13/2011 at about 9:50. There were 12 log files on the SD card, and the last 11 of them were from about that time, which means the Arduino was probably getting and losing power at that time until everything failed. The 12V to 5V USB power supply, from the car to usb charger, has corrosion on the positive pad, and the positive wire is broken off, which I assume is the cause of the failure. All other components seem to still be functioning after their long soak. The Arduino boards USB input is twisted, because of the lack of room in the box, but the Arduino still seems to be working.
