Put in my first level of twine in my Florida Weave test. One thing to note for the future, it would probably be best to have the same variety for the entire row since the Pik Reds are substantially bigger than the Rutgers right now, so they won't need the next level at the same time. Also, keeping the twine tight is difficult, and the twine I put in had a weak spot, which I had to cut out and tie off.
Attempting to get my Trellis tomatoes to grow closer to their strings by using the Velcro tomato ties to pull them closer. It may be, in the end, I have to use the tomato ties to hold the tomatoes the the strings the whole way to the top. Pictured here are tomatoes #1 & #2.Currently the largest tomato plant in the garden is the Better Boy at location #14. It already has 2 substantial green tomatoes on it now.
