Came back from vacation and was able to pick the first thinning of lettuce in Garden B. Unfortunately, it is the wrong lettuce mix, with a bunch of arugula, so it isn't the best salad mix. I did have it for lunch, mixed with some ice burg, and it was OK. The spinach is not growing in either garden. Must be something wrong with the seeds.
An important thing to note about the Cantaloupe. I had cut up a Cantaloupe, but didn't get to eat very much before we went on vacation. Came back from vacation, though, and it was still fine and very delicious. I got about 11 Cantaloupe, but could really save any long term. Maybe it keeps longer in the fridge than one would expect.
